MIC work with SITA on powder tanker project

Manx Independent Carriers and SITA have worked closely together to provide a solution for moving powder products to and from the Isle of Man Energy from Waste Plant. A very carefully specified powder tanker has been built and delivered and has now commenced delivery operations carrying lime used in the incineration process to the EfW plant and carrying residual waste APCR back to England for reprocessing.
This one piece of equipment is the most expensive single item ever purchased by the company coming in with a price of £118,000
